Sky Valley Members:

This memo is to inform you that the Sky Valley Short Term Rental Rules previously sent to you were approved by the Board of Directors at the “Special Meeting” held as announced on October 26, 2024.

The Rental Rules were passed with no changes to the document you received via email in mid-October. They can be found posted on the Sky Valley Website.

Deep Creek Lake will have its 100th birthday in 2025, and we'll be celebrating all year long! The Deep Creek Lake Centennial(DCL100) Committee has been busy putting together events for every month of the year.  Here's a listing of what we've got in store:    https://dcl100.com/events/

One of the first projects we completed for the Centennial was having old Visitor's Guides digitized and archived online so people could search them to find old restaurants, stories and memories.  We've done a second batch of these, and now have a almost all of them online between now and 1955 (when the Mountaintop Business Promotion Council began and we think the fist Visitor's Guide was published)

Notice of Special Meeting

The Board of Directors of Sky Valley Association, Inc. will hold a special meeting on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Maintenance Building in Sky Valley. The purpose of the meeting will be to consider for enactment Rules and Regulations pertaining to rental of properties in Sky Valley. The meeting is open to the membership for anyone wishing to attend.
